Our Outdoor Lighting Service Process:

We contact the South Carolina Utilities Location service to have the utilities at your site marked. This helps us prevent damage to underground wires and pipes. You will need to make us aware of any utilities that are not handled by this service.

After that, we will acquire the necessary equipment and supplies for your project and have them delivered to the site as soon as the project is started. Our crew of 2-3 workers will install the transformer and controller on your building. This equipment needs to be installed near a power source. The most common power source is your outdoor circuit breaker.

We then install the wire from the transformer to the light fixture locations. The wire is laid on the top of the ground in the planting beds, and covered with mulch. If wire needs to cross areas of lawn, it will be buried under the grass. We take special care to bury the wire deep in areas where the wire crosses a bed edge. That way, it will not be damaged by edging procedures in the future. If we are installing down lighting from trees, we will run the wire up the trees and attach them with special staples.
